J’adore cette phrase, je l’ai lue je sais plus où il y a quelques années, et je la répète souvent en guise de “maxime”.⁣ ⁣ Parce que oui, tous les jours, j’ai des questions soit à la salle, soit sur insta, soit sur Youtube en mode “Combien faut-il faire de cardio par semaine/séance pour perdre du poids ?” 🏃‍♀️⁣ ⁣ Et c’est même pas en mode “Es-ce que c’est bien de faire du cardio pour cet objectif” non non, c’est direct COMBIEN ? ⁣ ⁣ Alors on va se le dire une bonne fois pour toutes :⁣ ⁣ Tu perds TELLEMENT PEU de calories en faisant du cardio que si tu manges une barre de chocolat après UNE HEURE de course, tu as des chances de rattrapper ton poids perdu 😱⁣ ⁣ Le cardio ne SERT PAS à perdre du poids, il sert SURTOUT à garder une bonne condition physique, histoire d’être en mesure de monter des marches d’escaliers sans être au bout de ta vie par exemple, ou simplement d’avoir des niveaux d’énergie plus importants dans ta vie de tous les jours 👍⁣ ⁣ Et quand on y réfléchit c’est bien normal : notre corps a été optimisé pour éviter de dépenser de l’énergie pour rien. ❌One thing I have learnt over the years is that dropping your calories extremely low when attempting to lose weight doesn't produce good body composition changes long term! . @ExercisesGuide . 😑When we talk about calorie deficits, more isn't better in the case of a calorie deficit. Extreme weight loss will very rarely work for you and will leave you feeling awful! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⬆️The extremity of your calorie deficit will dictate the success of your outcome. It's time to ditch super low-calorie diets and stop thinking that the lower you go the better ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🕺Today's graphic shows that using a more extreme approach doesn't lead to the desired outcome (losing body fat and improving body composition).
