Prior to opening a full store, lululemon athletica regularly tests the market and opens a showroom (a smaller version of the full store) to gauge the demands of the market. You can do the same kind of thing at your gym when you add something like a weightlifting program or a box book club: Make the program a one-time thing FIRST. Something like a six-week course works great. And if it turns out that your community really gets behind the new program, then you can add it as a regularly scheduled option. Hoje falaremos da, polêmica, Intensidade! 🔹 Mover seu corpo ou algum objeto é representado na Física por: Força, Distância (ou amplitude) e Tempo. No CrossFit a Intensidade é calculada através destes componentes e representada pela Potência: sua capacidade de mover uma carga (corpo, barra, bola…) por uma distância (metros, altura da caixa, altura de arremessar a bola…) em um tempo (em 1 ou 10 minutos ou o mais rápido que conseguir…). Para terminar um treino mais rápido ou fazer mais repetições em um tempo utiliza-se muitas capacidades físicas de uma vez (força, equilíbrio, resistência, flexibilidade…) e isso resulta no desenvolvimento das mesmas. 🔸 E isso importa muito porque a Intensidade é a variável que mais influência nas mudanças no nosso corpo: perda de peso, melhora do sono, aumento da densidade óssea e da massa muscular, mais disposição para o dia a dia, etc. Mais importante de tudo é entender que a pessoa deve treinar na Intensidade relativamente correta para seu estado físico e psicológico. porque sempre que treinamos perto dos nossos limites de capacidade temos benefícios seja melhora da performance na competição de elite ou na manutenção da capacidade funcional e da saúde. 📊 Ao registrar os resultados não é especulação, competição, é mensuração, avaliação. I don’t know about you but for me it’s easy to forget to stay focused on how far I have come. I tend to focus on what I lack, what I haven’t done. This is just one of my many goals of things to work on and change. Positivity is so important. Working on mindset I have learned is equally as important as working on my physical health. This picture is from May 2019. I needed to do 20 pull-ups and could only get 13 or 14 Now just last week I did 25 and if time allowed I could of continued on. Reflecting on progress always blows my mind! So I wanted to share and remind YOU to do it! Take pictures, videos, document your journey whatever it is in, it’s so helpful. Just last week I saw my first CrossFit coach and she reminded me how I was unable to do lounges when I first started 🤯 so crazy ! So blessed and so excited to keep making progress!
