The swiss chard in my garden is still going strong after giving me a steady supply for the last 3 months. This is one of my favorite leafy greens and it's so easy to grow. Tonight I plan to just lightly saute it in some olive oil and season with salt and pepper to serve alongside baked chicken breast and brown rice.

Moist, creamy, and nutty. . 1 14-ounce can kidney beans 1/2 cup cacao powder 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup coconut sugar, or regular sugar if you want 3 pitted soft dates. Medjool works! 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 flax eggs (1 tablespoon ground flaxseed, plus 3 tablespoons water per "egg") 1/3 cup walnut pieces A pinch of salt 1/4 cup melted coconut oil, or regular oil! 2-3 tablespoons dark chocolate chips A very good camera, lol . Whole foods that helped me recover super fast after a long run inside & out. I didn’t drink a drop of water in 13.5 miles run because my body was well nourished, super hydrated, relaxed from the food/drink I consume every day! My body felt like camels body _ you know this animal can go without water for a long period of time in the desert because they have a water tank in their body to support them. I am like a camel only drink water, graze on colourful vegetables, fruits, nuts, pulses mostly whole foods & body is fed home cooking food from the scratch daily. I just eat food what my longevity ancestors ate thousands of years ago. Today, after the run I was offered a free glass of bubbly to celebrate my achievement but I politely refused it. After any extreme sports, physical exhaustion the last thing your body wants is alcohol, beer or energy drink. And instead I let my body to relax for a bit when finishing the run, let it cool down gently (got the body temperature back to its normal mode) then drunk lemon water slowly that I took with me. Body builds up slime substance like the mucus so lemon water (room temperature) helps thinning down the slimy build up, detox it or gets rid of it so you don’t feel fatigued, dizzy or super tired. I came home cooked a big pot of red lentil rice risotto using fresh ginger, garlic, cloves, turmeric, whole black peppercorns, red chilli, cumins, sea salt & extra virgin olive oil. This dish instantly repaired my tired muscles, any wear & tear ligaments etc. napped for an hour then out of the house on my recovery feet meeting up with friends. I can go for an another marathon tomorrow no problem because at the end of your fork what you feed in your body either healing your inside or damaging it further. Real whole foods is a powerful medicine where diseases have no chance of survival. Is there such a thing as an ugly vegetable? ~ My littles and I got a kick out of these funny carrots. One looked like an alien body with wild arms. I could even make out a face within the grooves. 👽🥕They aren’t perfectly straight or all the same size, but they almost tasted sweeter knowing we grew them. I harvested a little from my #RussianRiverGarden beds this morning, I haven't been up there for weeks, it's overgrown and needs some tending to and there's food growing everywhere, I even saw some hiding too. The tomatoes are falling off the plant and I see some squash & pumpkin vines are at maturity and some are winding down for the season.
