🔥🔥BEST muscle-up exercises🔥🔥 If you want to learn the muscle-ups give these exercises a shot! ... 1. Clapping pull-up: In order to perform a clean muscle-up you need to have explosive power. Although strength has pretty good carryover to power movements, it is still a different characteristic of athletic performance. This is why doing clapping pull-ups can be so beneficial. It incorporates the stretch shortening cycle and builds explosive power. Perform this exercise for a maximum of 5 reps per set and focus on speed. 2. Ring assisted muscle-ups: The hardest part of the muscle-up is the transition from pull-up to dip. It takes more skill and technique than strength to make a smooth transition. This exercise is a great way to practice the technique without really fatiguing you. 3. Band assisted muscle-up: This is probably the best exercise to help you achieve the muscle-up. It allows you to perform the full movement and get used to the motion before having the strength to do so unassisted. 4. Eccentric muscle-up: Eccentrics are often neglected tools in training yet they have so many benefits. We highly recommend this exercise b/c it'll increase training volume in the muscle-up movement pattern (albeit it would be in reverse). Give these a shot and let us know what you think!!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Instagram! TWO EXCITING DEVELOPMENTS! First: a new low weigh in today of 194.2. I may park myself here for the rest of the year. Second: I RAN SIX MILES TODAY!!!!! That probably sounds stupid and arbitrary, but running six miles has been a goal of mine since I started losing weight nearly three years ago. It was very tough mentally and physically, but I got it done. Also, quick side-rant: cardio doesn't kill your gains. I look better than I ever have, my muscles are more pronounced, and I've still increased my major compound lifts since introducing endurance cardio.
