What a year it has been 🙏🏽💙 —— From working FT in the ICU as a RN while being in school FT obtaining my Masters (graduated May), to then passing my boards becoming a Nurse Practitioner (June), marrying my best friend/soul mate (August), traveling all over Europe (August-September), THEN being recruited to be on The Rock’s new show The Titan Games?! —— I started off 2018 practically in tears every day finishing off my last semester of school while doing straight night shifts in the ICU, literally having panic attack’s on a weekly basis while studying for my boards on minimal sleep. —— I knew that by the time I became a NP I wanted to not only be mentally strong but physically stronger than I have ever been before. I wanted to change not only my career, but my mentality, my health, my wellbeing... I wanted to overall become my best self inside and out. —— Therefore, I managed to workout every single day because training was my release; it allowed me to breathe and gave me a sense of control. And you know what? I did it. I managed to study while working FT and passed my boards to become a NP - a goal that always seemed so distant but is now attained while being in the best physical shape of my life. —— Now at the age of 27 I’m allowing myself to “casually” interview for mid-level provider jobs until I find one that’s the right fit for me. I continue to work as a RN in the ICU with the best team, I own a beautiful home in CT, I have the most supportive family, and I am a wife to the most amazing human. Not to mention: IM GOING TO BE ON THE TITAN GAMES with THE ROCK! —— I guess my point after this long overly detailed annoying post is: go for it, struggle for it, cry for it. Sacrifice whatever you have to do to go after your dreams because one day all those tears will be worth it - those dreams WILL turn into reality. #achievetheimpossible ✊🏽

Nemusíme chodiť do fitka, nemusíme makať hodiny a hodiny za týždeň. Stačí efektívne využívať čas a robiť veci najlepšie ako vieme. Moje tréningy netrvajú dlhšie ako 25 minút a cvičím 3-4 krát do týždňa, ale počas cvičenia na tej podložke nechávam dušu. Počas mojich tréningov sa ale snažím cvičiť komplexné cviky, aby som zapájala veľké svalové skupiny a tým vynakladám viac energie, čiže spaľujem viac tukov. Tých 25 minút je naozaj DRINA, ale snažím sa to robiť najlepšie ako viem, bojujem a tým je tých 25 minút využitých efektívne. . Boli časy keď som cvičila každý deň aj dve hodiny. Jednak som to robila zle a jednak sa to nedá vsunúť do dnešného uponáhľaného sveta. . Na dobrý tréning niekedy stačia aj schody. Ja sa na nich viem vždy dobre vyšantiť. #truth Keeping fit while being a new mum has been the hardest thing to find balance. As my bubba hates sleeping and doesn’t sleep through the night (wakes up every 2 hours), it’s been uber difficult to find the energy to keep consistent on my fitness! Yes I’m a personal trainer but I can struggle too! It’s absolutely normal! The point is I try my best to do what I can, when I can! And that’s all it takes to lead a better and healthier lifestyle! So don’t give up 😊
